Aims
This course seeks to train personnel to work in various Tours & Travel companies and other related firms by giving them the necessary training to guide tourists through their safaris, make arrangements for their accomodation and activities. Therefore, for the students, safaris to various touristic destinations is a must in order to furnish them with the product knowledge useful in their day to day career.

Course Duration: 15 Months
(Inclusive of Industrial Attachment: 3 months)

  • Cultural Tourism
  • Tourism Theory
  • First Aid
  • Foreign Language (mandatory)
  • Driving Lessons (Paid Separately)


Career Opportunities
For the successful Tour Guiding student, careers may be pursued in Travel Agencies, Tour Operators, Car Hire Firms and Travel Related Firms as Tour guides, Tour Officers, Naturalists, Airport Representatives and Driver guides.

N/B In conjunction with a reputable driving school, students undertake their driving lessons with professionals.

Fee structure:
Tuition Fee - Kshs. 20,000/- Per Term (Term - 3 Months)Material Fee - Kshs.12,000/- (Incl. of Foreign Language)
Exam Fee - Kshs. 10,000/- (Incl. of Foreign Language)
